Day 1 Arrive in Beijing (D) Arrive
at the Beijing Capital International Airport, where you will be greeted
by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing (B,L,D)
Morning trip to the well-known Tian'anmen Square, the largest public
square in the world. Followed by the visit of the Forbidden City,
which is largest and the most intact conglometration of ancient structures
of the imperial palace. This was the palace for 24 Ming and Qing Dynasty
emperors who ruled China for over 500 years.visit the /Summer Palace,
the famous resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. Feast your eyes on the
Long Corridor, Longevity Hill, and Kunming Lake. Enjoy the delicious
Peking duck dinner.
Day 3 Beijing (B,L,D)
Morning tour to the magnificent Great Wall, the only man-made object
that can be observed from the moon; and one of the world's most popular
tourist attractions. After lunch, drive to the Ming Tombs, the last
resting place of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.
Day 4 Beijing (B,L,D)
Morning visit to the Temple of Heaven, the country's largest temple
complex, where Ming and Qing monarchs prayed for good harvests. After
lunch you will tour the Hutong(Chinese alleyways)by riding aboard
a pedicab through the narrow lanes of the old residential quarters.
You will have the opportunity to take a glimpse of the residentsÕ life.
Enjoy an evening of traditional Chinese culture with Beijing Opera.
Day 5 Beijing-Chengde (B,L,D)
Take a bus ride to Chengde, where located in the northeast of Hebei
Province. Chengde is surrounded by mountains and rivers, exuberant
forests and trees with beautiful scenery. Visit the Small Potala Temple.
Day 6 Chengde (B,L,D)
Visit the Imperial Mountain Resort, known as the temporary palace
away from the capital, which is one of China's top ten scenic spots
and the world's extant largest imperial garden where emperors of the
Qing Dynasty used to spend their summer vacations and engaged in political
activities. Followed by a visit of Puning Temple.
Day 7 Chengde-Beijing (B,L,D)
Take bus back to Beijing and visit the Yonghe Lamasery, which was
built in 1694, the largest of its kind in the capital. On display
in the temple are numerous valuable relics.
Day 8 Beijing-Home (B)
After breakfast you will take a departure transfer to the airport
for the flight back home.
