Best China Tour 7 Days(Beijing,
Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai)
Day 1 Arrive in Beijing (D)
Arrive at the Beijing Capital International Airport, where you will be
greeted by our tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 2 Beijing (B,L,D)
Morning tour to the Forbidden City whose vast, exotic grandeur was brilliantly
captured in the movie The Last Emperor, which was filmed there. Then visit
Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. In the afternoon,
enjoy the former royal resort, Summer Palace, a de facto museum of China's
classical architectures. Peking Duck dinner has been arranged.
Day 3 Beijing (B,L,D)
Morning tour to the magnificent Great Wall, the only man-made object that
can be observed from the moon; and one of the world's most popular tourist
attractions. After lunch, drive to the Ming Tombs, the last resting place
of the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Enjoy an evening of traditional
Chinese culture with Beijing Opera.
Day 4 Beijing-Shanghai-Suzhou (B,L,D)
Take a morning flight to Shanghai, the biggest city in China and the queen
of the Orient. Then take a bus ride to Suzhou, known as 'the Venice of
the East' with a network of canal streets, crisscrossed by 300 bridges;
and also famous for its classic gardens. City tour includes the visit
to Garden for Lingering In, renowned for the artistic way in which the
spaces between various kinds of architectural forms are dealt with. Then
swing to Hanshan Temple, and Tiger Hill Park, a "must" on the
itinerary of every visitor to Suzhou and on yours as well.
Day 5 Suzhou-Hangzhou (B,L,D)
After breakfast, coach journey to the ancient city of Hangzhou, a famed
scenic and historical and cultural city with a glamorous byname, "Paradise
under Heaven". In the afternoon, visit the Lingyin (Soul's Retreat)
Temple, one of the best-known Buddhist monasteries in China.Take pleasure
in a boat-ride on the scenic West Lake. Marco Polo once wrote: "...
it skirts the city... and commands a distant view of all its grandeur
and loveliness, its temples, monasteries, and gardens with their towering
trees, running down to the water's edge." You will also have a chance
to visit Mausoleum of General Yu Fei and a Tea Plantation.
Day 6 Hangzhou-Shanghai (B,L,D)
Take bus back to Shanghai. Before transferring to your hotel, visit the
Special Economic Zone of Pudong, the largest new economic development
area where you can feel the strong and fast beating of Shanghai's pulse.
Take a tour of the Oriental Pearl Tower to have birdÕs eye view of Shanghai.
Then you will go to the Bund on the waterfront lined with colonial buildings
and look into China's future across the river at the skylines of the New
Shanghai; and Yu Garden where old Shanghai still retains its charm with
unforgettable memories.
Day 7 Shanghai-Home (B)
After breakfast you will take a departure transfer to the airport for
the flight back home.
